Win a Bummis Organic Cotton Diaper Kit

Jan 25, 2010 7:48 PM / 1 Comment

I’m not pregnant yet, but adding to our family is something we’re thinking about constantly. I follow quite a few ‘mom’ blogs, and one major trend is mothers switching to the use of cloth diapers. Favor really went to disposable nappies for awhile, but with new cute styles and innovative designs – no more sketchy safety pins – cloth diapering is making a comeback in a big way.

The average family spends around $1000 per baby on diapers each year, not to mention the negative impact all of those disposable diapers have on the environment. Many people find that cotton diapers are also much gentler on baby bottoms. I am definitely planning to use cloth diapers when we have children.

Minnesota Mama is giving one of her readers/followers the chance to win a Bummis Organic Cotton Diaper Kit (retail $169). The contest closes February 5th, 2010.

Do you or will you use cloth diapers with your kids?

I plan on using cloth diapers when I eventually, someday, far off in the future have children!
I think that spending money on something you are literally going to put shit in and throw away it just a horrible idea. Horrible for the environment and really wasteful when you’re trying to raise a family in this economy.
Cloth diapers are green, cheap, and this one that you have shown is ADORABLE.
    Plus, less diaper rash!
