Win a 9 Month Supply of Nature Made Prenatals + DHA!

Posted on | November 12, 2010 | 47 Comments

This giveaway is closed ~ Congratulations to Jayme!

Nature Made Prenatal Multi plus DHAMy prenatal vitamins ran out right around the time I gave birth to my son, so I was stoked to receive a supply of Nature Made Prenatals to review. Prenatals are important for most women while they are trying to conceive, are pregnant, or are nursing/pumping. Before I was any of those things, I popped a daily prenatal to speed up growth of my hair and nails – and it worked. Nature Made Liquid Softgel Prenatal Multi for Pregnant & Nursing Moms contain Folic Acid, DHA, Vitamins B6 and B12, and more.

I love B vitamins. They are a quick mood boost, which is why they are often included in energy drinks. I have a B vitamin supplement in my cupboard but they taste foul no matter how quickly I swallow them. These Softgel Prenatals have no taste, which is especially great for moms-to-be in their first trimester!

I am currently taking prenatals while breastfeeding. It can be difficult to fit in healthy, balanced meals each day when you have a new baby and supplements like this can help fill in the gaps.

One Alternative Housewife reader will win a 9 month supply of Nature Made Prenatal Softgels!

To enter: Comment telling me who you want to win these for and why – Are you pregnant? Nursing? Trying to grow out your hair and nails at lightening speed?

I am due with my first child 5.30.11. I am having a hard time taking both a prenatal AND a DHA supplement. I would love to be able to try them all in one pill! Easier on a very upset stomach! *fingers crossed*

I’m 2 months into breastfeeding and want to continue until 12 months. These vitamins looks great (so I don’t have to take two separate pills)! Naturemade makes good vitamins. On a side note, some of my best wardrobe pieces are from thrift shops :)

I just found out I’m 5 weeks preggo yesterday (HUGE surprise, we weren’t trying) and already take Nature Made folic acid for some other health reasons and was hoping they made a prenatal! Hoping to get started on these to provide a happy, healthy trip for the next 8ish months :)

I am six and a half weeks pregnant! Yay! Work is really slow right now so every little bit of saving helps. I found out the pre-natal I had been taking during pre-conception doesn’t have DHA. So now I am living off of samples provided by my OB. I would love to have these pre-natals. I would help us save a lot of money during this costly time and give me and the baby the nutrition we need. Our puppy was also recently sick with Salmonella and another bacteria so bills have been crazy. Having this supply would really help us so much. Thanks! – Stephanie

Hi, I would like these vitamins to help ease my husbands mind. This baby was a (pleasant) surprise. I’m 12 weeks along and my husband will be leaving 2 days after Christmas for military basic training. He will be in special tactics and will have 2 years worth of training. Baby is due June 4th and I will get to see my husband at his basic graduation and wont see him again until after the baby is born when he is allowed to come home to pack for his first move. I won’t be covered under his insurance until April so we haven’t even had an ultrasound yet because we can’t afford it out of pocket. I won’t be allowed to move to the new state with him until a few months later (hopefully). My husband just liquidated his business and sold all of his equipment to pay for doctors appointments and such. Winning these pills would help easse the financial burden and help him know that I’ll be a little better taken care of when he leaves.

Oh, and we’re doing everything we can to not be on Medicaid or other government assistance. I feel that it’s not other peoples fault that we got pregnant :)

I would love to win these! I ran out of mine and cannot afford to buy more at this time. My son is 7 months old and has been BF all along despite many issues such as low supply (which nearly broke my heart.) What an awesome give-away!
