Things I Love Thursday
x Spring air – It hasn’t been consistently warm. The one day this week it was sunny it also hailed. But the springtime air is in full effect. I love the cool breeze coming through the window, crisp and optimistic, and going down for a late-afternoon nap and waking up to an hour or two of remaining daylight.
x Starbucks – Husband brought me a Skinny Vanilla Latte one day this week and it was just the pick-me-up I needed. I typically brew my own coffee but there is just something about getting it from a coffee shop once in awhile. When I had finished my cuppa jo, the baby adopted the Starbucks cup as a new favorite toy – He’s been batting it around the apartment ever since.
x Sebastian’s first word – My baby officially says “Dada”! My husband was over the moon when we heard it. I’m not sure if he relates the word with his dad or not but it is adorable and exciting either way. The way he says it is distinctly different than his babbling. I put a video of it up on my YouTube channel but it was late in the day and he’s pretty screamy in it.
x Bonnaroo Buzz – AKA the best ice cream ever! Seriously, it’s the next best thing to a Jack and coke. Ben & Jerry’s Bonnaroo Buzz is light coffee and malt ice creams with whiskey caramel and English toffee. I am not a sweets person but this stuff is amaze.
x Mama-Baby cuddles – Sebastian has been extra cuddly this week and I am loving it. He is very high-energy and for him to just collapse against me or in my arms is the best feeling.
x Trail Blazers in the Playoffs – Our first game against Dallas is Saturday. I love Blazer Mania! I am so not a sports person but my husband made me a die-hard fan. Last year I even attended a playoff game with Brittanie.

I know right – He’s SO cute. I feel like I have a schoolgirl crush on my own baby – Do you ever feel that way? He is asleep right next to me yet looking at photos of him makes me almost giddy.
One of my favorite basketball players, the one I got a photo with, Nicolas Batum, is actually French!
