Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt
Edit 9/23/2009: I’ve been using this mascara regularly from awhile now and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I am yet to apply it without any clumps, especially on bottom lashes. I suggest putting your $7 towards BADgal lash mascara or a product by Maybelline (Cult fave Great Lash retails for less than $5).

I really wanted to love Rimmel’s Glam Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara ($7). I love the packaging with the little crown logo and chunky wand. I love Kate Moss. So when my first application left black streaks above and below my eyes the first time I blinked, I was disappointed.
The Rimmel mascara applicator wand is skinny, and looks as though it would easily coat lashes without clumping. Not quite. Slower strokes improve the results, but if you wait more than a few seconds between coats, forget about adding layers of volume, as it will just clump. As for the bottom lashes, I had to be painstakingly careful to get even one coat on without clumping.
There are definitely better drugstore products out there, and I would recommend Maybelline over Rimmel for mascara.

I LOVE Cover Girl’s Lash Blast. I don’t usually use mascara, as I have pretty long lashes to begin with, but to define my eyes more on days I actually have the time, I use Lash Blast. It’s neat, not clumpy, and works wonders! It’s about $6-7 too, and it’s the only mascara (drug store OR department store) that didn’t cause an allergic reaction in my eyes!
It’s always so frustrating to be disappointed by a mascara! I feel like it’s such an easy product to get right, that I don’t understand how it goes bad so often.
