Cover Girl Smoky Shadow Blast Review

CoverGirl BzzAgent Haul

I received CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast eye shadow as a BzzAgent, and I would give it a better rating than most reviews I’ve read. While the shadow color is very creamy, I think it would stay in place with a good primer. I tested it using a mineral powder primer on my eyelids, although not a primer designed specifically for eye makeup. I have fairly oily skin and hooded eyelids, so keeping even the best eye makeup on my lids all day long is a major challenge.

Anything this product lacks in staying power it definitely makes up for in convenience. The shadow combo is super easy to apply and is compact for easily carrying in even a small handbag. It is easy to apply for an instant polished look and I especially love the gold shade.

I also received a tube of CoverGirl ShineBlast Lip Gloss, which I would rank as average for a drugstore lip product.

How-to apply Cover Girl Shadow Blast:

Have you tried this product? What were your thoughts? What do you look for in an eye shadow product? Which beauty products do you routinely buy at the drugstore?

I have a question – when it’s on does it look liquidy? That’s the only thing holding me back from trying it out.

I have oily skin so it’s hard to tell how it’d look on a more matte face. I’m guessing it would look dewy no matter what.

I’m so curious about this stuff! Did it blend well?
