An Ordinary Day in Photos
A normal day in the Fowler household, in photos.
8-9am. Sebastian wakes us up. We try to resist, but I finally jump up when he stands on top of the bedside table/unplugs the fan and tries to plug it back in by himself. I take him to the potty (He is usually wet but still pees) and we head downstairs while Daddy sleeps in a bit longer.

10-11am. Sebastian hangs out with his dad while I shower. I walk the dog and we eat breakfast together. Sebastian plays while I drink coffee and check my email, and then Donny leaves.

12-1pm. I nurse Sebastian down for a nap on the futon. No photo because I fell asleep myself. ♥ Nursing naps.
2pm. Sebastian wakes up from his nap, points to his stroller and waves “bye-bye.” We pack up for a walk and visit the library. I really love our neighborhood/community; there are lots of places to go within walking distance.

2:30pm. Mama needs more coffee!

3pm. I try to bribe Sebastian with Pocky so that he will let me load the dishwasher in peace. It doesn’t work.

3:30pm. Daddy’s home! You can spy Sesame Street in the background, a sign that I was trying to get some work done.

4pm. Snacking on scrambled eggs, bananas and Nutella sandwiches.

5pm. Family time – Practicing walking, playing on the floor.

6pm. This particular day we did Sebastian’s birthday smash cake in the kitchen. He took a milkies break halfway through.

7pm. Bath time. The Yes to Carrots shampoo bottle does not taste as good as it smells.

8-9pm. Sebastian nurses to sleep, with the help of lullabies played by Scout.

9pm-1am. I work and blog and Donny and I watch Netflix in bed. (The room is actually almost completely dark at this time.)

I’d love to see what an ordinary day looks like in your home!

I loved this! You guys are such a cute family.
The photo of Sebastian taking a milk break during cake is such a wonderful photo when you really think about it. Breastfeeding in the middle of his first birthday cake. <3<3<3. Also, my Seb loves the dishwasher too
Such a cute post! When I lived on 2nd street I used to go to Cafe Delirium all the time on the way to GHS, loved their hot chocolate.
my son is two and we’re struggling with the potty right now. he just has absolutely no interest in learning. :/
I love photojournal posts, and this one was a ton of fun. I especially love the nursing mid cake smash photo, but his face in the bathtub afterward is awesome!
Yay! I finally got your pictures to load. I wasn’t able to from my phone every time I checked. Dude, your babe is so cute my ovaries my explode. That hair!! It’s awesome that you can walk to so many great places. That is a big downside to living in the burbs. Loved it! Thank you so much for participating.
It’s so nice to see parenting done naturally and attentively. Your pictures truly speak a 1000 words and show the contentment and peace your little person feels from bedsharing and breastfeeding.
